See EU Later: Understanding Brexit

Join EPU for our FIRST event of this academic year!

Next Thursday @ 6:30PM we'll be hosting Professor Niamh Nic Shuibhne who is the current Chair of European Union Law at the University of Edinburgh and Professor Nicola McEwen, who is the Associate Director of Centre on Constitutional Change, a key investment under the ESRC Future of the UK and Scotland programme. 

Professor Shuibhne is one of the Joint Editors of the Common Market Law Review and she is currently working on the legal framework guaranteeing equal treatment for EU citizens. She will discuss the implications of Brexit referendum and what it means for students. Professor McEwen has published widely in the field of territorial politics, multi-level government and nationalism, and is actively involved in informing debate within the wider policy and political community, through media work, public engagement, advisory and consultancy. She will discuss the implications of Brexit for Scotland.

We'll be also introducing our committee and how you can get involved with the society.

After the event we'll head off to the pub for chilled drinks and some quality political banter!
